Alcatraz in the back drop....
Sweeeeeeeeeet Hotel blocks off the Bay
This was a great choice of hotels for me. The cab ride there is 20 minutes or $45, but once you are there you are in a great locale. The hotel if you get the upgrade to the 7th floor with a view over looks the Golden Gate Bridge or you can just walk the 3 blocks down to Fisherman's Wharf and see it live. Alcatraz, Sea Lion Peir 39 and a slew of restaurants are all in the same place. I highly recommend this hotel.
