Phoenix Inn Suites Albany

Albany Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

I just got back from Oregon and found this to be a great state for relaxation and pure nature. I assumed Oregon would be a wasteland of trees and cold and miserable, but was pleasantly suprised to find a beautiful shore town (Lincoln City) and 90 degree temps. The Pacific Ocean was amazing with evergreen trees and Lighthouses dotting the landscape. If you like nature and want to get away and relax i give Oregon 2 thumbs up!!
Touch of class in a one horse town....
I was too tired to make the trip back from the coast to Portland and ended up giving in to stop in the town of Albany (20 miles from Salem). By the looks of the town i expexted a crappy Motel 6 if i was lucky, but came across the Phoenix Inn. All i can say is wow, rooms were spacious and immaculate. Indoor pool and spa, friendly service and a king size bed i wanted to take home with me. In the middle of a run down town with nothing to do, this gem is hidden away. So if you are ever in Albany Oregon stop by the Phoenix Inn!!
