Left Delhi on a Cathay Pacific flight which was a lot more reassuring after the Gulf Air flights. This flight was booked over 12 months ago like the two Gulf Air ones and there were no unexpected changes, cancellations, diversions to different countries or broken seats. Upon our arrival we extracted money from an ATM and checking the transport options to get to the Hostel at Causeway Bay it was obvious that the one hour journey was way cheaper by bus over taxi or train. Thought that it would be a real hassle dragging suitcases on wheels onto a bus but the airport buses were well set up with luggage space.
We followed the directions on Hostel World's page for finding the correct bus stop and got off as per the details. From the bus stop we had a little difficulty finding the street we needed but eventually did and then had the devil's job of finding the Hostel. Not obviously signed in the posh fashion sector of Hong Kong, it was in a nondescript doorway, up a lift to the third floor and search until we found a check in desk. Once done we were shown to our cramped private double room with ensuite. Space is a problem in Hong Kong and the bed was the hardest we had encountered in the whole 10 months........even our 5 months in a tent gave us a softer base than this!
