Mareeba Wetlands - Granite Gorge
Mareeba Wetlands - Granite Gorge
It is on private land 12km SW of Mareeba, it has a large population of wild rock wallabies. There are also walking trails and a waterfall around the big granite formations. To get there follow the Chewco Road out of Mareeba for 7 km, there is a turn-off on the right hand side. (admission ca. $ 2,-) Bring proper shoes!! Well worth  going there!!
