Australia III - This time we started in Brisbane, took a flight up North to Darwin, went on a 4day Kakadu Nat Park 4WD Tour, took another flight to Cairns and from there we rented a camper to travel back down South to Brisbane. Will we ever make it.?

3rd day in Paradise

This morning we went to Twin Falls, here we took a short but nice boat cruise with an Aboriginal Guide up Twin Falls Gorge. After a short walk down to the end of the gorge, you reach a beautiful white sandy beach at the base of Twin Falls…simply spectacular. But to get there you had to manage the walk over the big rocks first! 

From here we made our way to the Jim Jim Falls. Some went for a swim in the plunge pool at the base of Jim Jim after I saw the sweet water crocs swimming around I decided to stay out of the water - our guide they are harmless - I will not give it a try! To reach the plunge pool, we took a 1km scenic walk through monsoon rainforest and had excellent lookouts over Jim Jim Falls. Well if there would have been some water - end of rain season! :-))
