Eureka to Los Angeles to Mexico..... One exciting day!

On the 11th we had still not packed..... We had champagne and rushed around getting ready... I thought it would help me enjoy getting ready but instead I kept losing my glass and having to find it.  I had been sick all week and really put off everything until the last possible minute.... literally.... I suggested we might not want to go to bed as the time in bed would be so brief.  

At 6 PM we  found out we didn´t have a ride to the airport  the next morning.  We arranged a airporter to pick us up. We are pretty rural and wondered if they would find us ..... At 1 pm we finally went to bed..... actually fell into bed. and back up again at 3.30. At exactly 4: 45 the airporter arrived. He was very prompt! 

We caught the plane at 6:30 AM.

... for once I wasn´t searched. we arrived in Los Angeles at 8 15.... our next plane did not leave until 2 30 so we went to the Alaska Airlines Board Room. David had a pass and paid $30 for me. Inside was all of the water, beer, mixed drinks, champagne, tea, crackers, cheese, vegetables, bagels, sweet rolls, fruit, .... and more...... that you wanted to eat during your stay.  It was all included in the entry price.....   

 We had a blast watching Star Wars and watching the planes take off and land.   (apparently it doesn't take much to amuse us....) ...     We went to the boarding area around 2:PM and went the last leg of our trip.
