We had some time to kill and hearing that Rosario was as happening as our fave city Buenos Aires but smaller and more manageble, we decided to kill that time there. Unfortunately....
It rained the first day and we decided that it was too much trouble to go anywhere. The 2nd day we spent the morning walking around to find a laundry and then to the outskirts of town only to find that the museum we wanted to see was closed. We walked back into town and gave up for the day. Then on the 3rd day Tris couldn't leave the bathroom.
We had tickets booked for the night bus and finally the stars aligned to let us spend the day wandering around the place. It was cool. We saw the apartment block that Che Guevara was born in. Ironically the street front of the building is now a bank. Then meandered up to the Flag Monument (this is where the Argentinian Flag was designed) which is a massive parthenon, in an even bigger plaza, surrounded by famous Argentinians (who we don't know) and a massive tower on a monumental prow of a boat of stone. Argentinian's tend to be a very proud bunch.
