Back to the beach in Villa Gesell
Apparently Argentinians really enjoy sitting shoulder-to-shoulder on brown sand (kinda looks a bit like dirt) beaches, with the millions of others from nearby Buenos Aires to soak up the rays, and attempt to swim without crashing into other beach-goers. We have headed to where everyone goes for the Summer, Villa Gesell and Mar del Plata.
We decided to do the beach thing properly, and pitched our borrowed umbrella amongst all the others. After a day, Arlene was substantially sunburnt enough to warrant sticking out of the sun, and off the beach til the late afternoon the next day. We saw some more sea lions hanging out at the docks in Mar del Plata which was pretty cool. Took us longer to get there to see them than it was worth...caught the wrong bus because we were trying to be cool pretending we were locals...usual story.
