Heading off the ship takes a bit, I recommend walking your baggage and not checking it the night before. The process will take twice as long and the people who check thier bags have to wait to head thru the customs terminal. We had a four hour drive back to vegas but the port has shuttles and taxis available. My friends and I all needed a couple days to get our bodies and souls back together and to re-coop. We have decided to make this trip an annual event. I would not recommend this specific cruise for people with families or elderly, seriously. This weekend carnival cruise is prediminately 20 to 30 somethings making crazy fun memories. I do not think it would be relaxing for anyone my parents age or older.
