Hey Everyone!! Welcome to the travel blog for Stef, Jenn and Laura. We will be periodically throughout our adventure uploading photos and updating everyone of our experiences. Please feel free to post comments/questions/anything. This will be a main communication channel considering it is difficult to write several e-mails. RIJEKA!!!!! On the Coast

Rijeka...the industrial capital of Croatia! Our hostel had a nice view of the Adriatic Sea, and the first night we got there, the Croatia game was playing in the center. Like Zagreb, they also had a big screne set up outside, where there were approximately 2000 roaring fans. It was a really good game, and Croatia came out on top!! YAY! After we ate our first McDs dinner... mmmm Big Mac.. those dont change country to country! We walked around town and watched all the Croatia fans running wild and celebrating. The next day, we met our German friend Ines in our hostel dorm, and went with her by bus to a nearby town, Opatia. We were pleasantly suprised by how nice the town was. We then layed by the coast on these comfy lawn chairs at the bar. Even though the water was absolutely freezing, we managed to make it in plenty of times of course. After, we seeked a restaurant where we could get some good fresh fish. This place was about 10 km, called Ichichi...lol not sure of the spelling, and we had a nice fish dinner.
