We spent two nights in Florence at a really nice apartment with a bed for each of us, a huge kitchen and bathroom and a great location! The first night we just settled into the place and went out for dinner at this really good Italian restaurant.... Steph got to try Prosecco for the first time (an Italian sweet, bubbly wine). We decided to hit the sack early because we had a lot to see the next day!

After a few mysterious things happened in our apartment (Steph´s bed moved & the lights turned off and on when Jenn was in the bathroom), we decided it was haunted but still slept there. lol We then spent the day strolling down the cute Florence streets, visiting churches, and admiring the works of art in the Uffizi art gallery. We saw paintings by Michaelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Boticelli and were in awe. (We even snuck a few pictures when we weren´t suppposed to!) Later that night Jenn and Stef participated in a street performance with a crowd of about 200! The guy was really funny (similar to Charlie Chaplan) and had been performing on that same street for 24 years!

We all loved Florence very much!

Here we come southern France!
