Living in paradise certainly has its perks.  Lots of sun, great beaches, perfect surf....and the Pro Bowl!

Now I grew up in Jersey, living no more than 5 miles from Giants Stadium at any given time, and I had NEVER been to a professional football game.  So when the Pro Bowl rolled around we scooped up a group of tickets and decided to party.

A couple of the guys decided to get up early and bring their cars to the parking lot, and I mean wicked early like 3 am.  The rest of us thankful souls strolled in ready to tailgate and the guys were already going!  After a few hours of tailgating that would make the Tri-State area proud, we headed in.

Being it was my first experience with professional football, I was really excited.  The crowd was pretty lively and we all had a good time.  The mascots put on a pretty funny show, pretending to sunbathe and all.  Don Ho sang "Tiny Bubbles" at half time.  When I think back to that now I think it is pretty amazing I saw him perform at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii.

I am also happy to report that since then I have been to a Giants pre-season game and a Jets regular season game.  I am still a football rookie, but I'm working on it.
