Long Drive to Minnesota

It was time to leave Iowa, and head into Minnesota. I had to leave early, as I wanted to return the car on time without getting charged extra. So that meant, no visit to the Field of Dreams, since it opened later than I wanted to.

Along the way, I would pass through more farmlands, and see some windmills. I thought it was unique, since I've never seen anything like it before. It was a scenic drive, as I entered Minnesota for the first time ever. Another new state for me.

The drive would take around 5 hours, taking a lot longer than I thought. Part of that was because I took the longer way when I was approaching the Twin Cities. And I had 2 close calls, almost getting into accidents. The first for not keeping my eyes on the road, and second for driving too fast on a sharp curve. (Lesson: Whatever amount of time MapQuest says it is, add at least 1/2 hour to it).

I continued on, to the airport in the Minneapolis area.
