first snow

    Well, Constance tells me that it is now 11 sleeps until we set off.  We got up this morning to a nasty little surprise, about 4 inches of snow, yuk.  I now remember one of the primary reasons we decided to go to India.  Because its  just too darn cold here in the winter.  They often say here, that it isn't so bad, because it's a dry cold.  But you know... when its 40 below zero... its always a dry cold...how could it be anything but???? All of the bloody water is frozen!!!  Anyway, here's a shot out our bedroom window of our "vinter vonderland".  Will I miss this when we are on our trip?  In a word.  No.
