I guess I spoke to soon today when I said no more puppies for me! Well he is not a puppy, but the newest addition to our family is an adorable young man about 4 1/2 to 5 years old. He is a Chow mix (Bobby thinks the mix is Shina Inu, or how ever it is spelled), what ever the mix is, he is the cutest little guy there is. He is very active, and very inquisitive. He is still getting settle in, and spent the first hour after the beautiful lady that gave him to use left, sitting at the door. But after that first hour, he started exploring the house again. When he went back to the door...he did not sit with his back to us. He turned and faced the room. I think he was still looking for that familiar face..but he did not seemed stressed or upset.
Now that we have a new responsibility, we need to take better care of somethings around the house. The first order of business will be to get the back yard into shape again. Justin had a fine ole time checking out his new hood, but he picked up a bunch of foxtails. I felt really bad, I did not realize they were such a problem in the back yard. Well that will be taken care of tomorrow morning, so mr puppy dog can roam, and I and C will not have to worry about him. The next thing on my list of things to do is to stock up on dog food. I was going to take care of it tonight...but by the time we felt comfortible that Justin was going to settle in...it was to late to run to Costco.
