Sunday at 11.15 hours I stepped on the bus, on my way to Newcastle, that I had to take, because of road work, four trains did not undermined the fun that I've experienced thas weekend
In Beverwijk was my girlfriend Diana waiting for me, we saw each other for the first time, but we knew eachother from email.
This trip she won and therefore I had the honour to go with her and we had a super weekend!
In Ijmuiden we had to embark on the impressive cruise ship “The King of Scandinavia”
It was very luxurious from the inside, including, mostly foreign and abundant staff whom welcomed us very kindly.
When we walked through the corridors to the hut, suddenly I saw images of the Titanic for me, people swimming in those corridors, “Think positive!” I said to myself, with a glance at the vomit bags that hung on the wall.
The cabin was small and practical and on the bedside table again there were the vomit bags!
We decided to eat a lot, so we don`t need these awful bags.
There was a buffet, which was really delicious.
We still had the whole evening for us and fortunately there was a great band.
We drink a beer and enjoyed ourselves.
The other morning at half past 8 they cried loudly: “Breakfast is ready” but we prefer to stay in that blissful bed for a moment, lie at sea is so delicious!
We decided to eat in New Castle.
After a cup of coffee and a banana, we went into the double-decker, which brought us to Newcastle.
After a little while we found the cozy part of New Castle, full of shops and restaurants.
We have been in a cathedral (there were quite a lot) and walked through the city and saw a lot of beautiful old buildings and the weather allowed we could even sit on a terrace.
New Castle was a nice place to visit, but we didn`t had much time to see everything.
It was again a long great night and a heavy morning, but the English scrambled eggs at breakfast gave us new energy.
It was great to sail to New Castle on a cruise ship.
