An evening at the seaside

Well today we just went about our normal things as you do on a Sunday.
Our daughter Sarah, her fiance Richard and his sister Tonya (they all live with us), finally got themselves up and went into Adelaide to see the final bicycle race for the "Tour Down Under".
From there they went to one of the beaches so that Richard could go surfing again.
They all got to the beach about 5pm which was about the same time that Andrew and I left home with the 3 dogs to take them to Glenelg beach. We walked along the sand and the waters edge. The water was a bit choppy so the dogs didn't like it. They all got wet anyway and yes I got partly wet, which is how I had to stay!
We then wandered up to the Marina area which we enjoy going to. The dogs sit beside us with thier bowl of water while we have Tea & Cappaccino. We go there regularly.
After receiving a message from the kids, we headed back to Jetty Road and got a table outside the restaurant there so that we could have dinner with the kids who were on their way.
Wouldn't you know it? Our waitress was a traveller, from New York.
We then had our dinner, a drink and finally headed home.
It was almost 11pm and it has been an enjoyable evening.
