This is just for miscellaneous snapshots. I will start with some more recent photos and will build very slowly on this

The city of Adelaide

We have gone out for a drive and decided to stop and take a couple of photos. Normally we just drive past as it is something we take for granted.  We stopped on Motifiorre Hill. This is where the surveyor general, Colonel William Light, stood and pointed towards where he wanted the city of Adelaide built. Of course now it is a statue of Colonel Light but it is interesting. I am sure there was more to the decision of where the city was built.

Funny isn't it, how we never seem to stop to have a good look at our home town?
