Well today I did the normal thing and went to the local shopping mall.
When I arrived there I noticed that they had a reptile and other Australian wildlife display in the mall.
Last year they had the same, and I held a snake for the first time. Since then, Andrew has held a couple of small snakes but has been wanting to hold some bigger ones. I phoned Andrew and told him that they were here.
I did my bit of shopping and then went home. About half an hour later we both went back to the mall.
Andrew first got to hold a snake called Erica, a carpet python, then held Ben the Black headed python.
Andrew is still considering getting a snake and he liked the black headed on best.
I just took the photos. Erica was slithering shoulder to shoulder on the kids so I stood behind one of the kids to try to get a good photo of the snakes head. I did jump though when the head started coming over the top of the camera. I had been looking through the screen and not realised. Hence I got a photo of the underneath of the snake. It was moving fairly quickly.
