Well, Saturday night, what are going to do?

Tonya who is living with us and who is new to Adelaide, saw an advert for Adelaide Roller Derby and thought it would be good to see. I was the only one that had ever been to any Roller Derby games and that was many years ago. The American teams used to come out to Australia but for some reason, Roller Derby in Australia was being cancelled. I went to the last match held in Adelaide. It included grudge matches during the half time break.

So we all went to this game which was 2 ladies teams, "The Salty Dolls & The Mile Die Club" It was on a much smaller scale to what I was used to seeing but as Andrew, Tonya, Sarah & Rick had never seen a game before, it made for a good night out.

The "Salty Dolls" were wearing sailor style mini dresses, white stockings, suspenders and frilly knickers.

P.S.  The photoes are not the best but it gives you the idea.

The "Mile Die Club" were wearing red shorts, black tops & black holy stockings. They were meant to be Diner waitresses on roller skates.
