Koalas

Today we took Mandy to the Gorge wildlife park. Although she had seen our wildlife, Mandy had not held a Koala.

When we arrived, we had a bit of a look around the park before returning to the point at where we could hold a Koala.

Lots of people were there for the same reason but they brought out 2 Koalas and that helped get everyone to have a turn. The Koalas are so beautiful but they do have sharp claws.

After that we drove to Mt Lofty summit lookout. It was lovely there. While we were there, the young lady that lives with us messaged to see if Mandy wanted to go out on the town tonight. Of course the answer was yes. :-)

We decided that we wouldn't do much more for the day so that Mandy could have some rest and get organised for the night out. The other reason being that Mandy is leaving tomorrow so bags to pack.

We did go to Waterfall Gully which is beautiful. We decided to have a late lunch there (2.30pm) which was lovely but after that, it was time to head home, via the supermarket so that Mandy could get food supplies for her long train trip tomorrow.

While I am writing this, the girls are getting ready to go out. Hope they remember that Mandy has to get up in the morning!
