Another day at Victor Harbour and around

It was only a couple of weeks ago that we took TravBuddy Yadi sightseeing. Andrew decided that instead of us going out to dinner with our friends tonight, we would start off in the afternoon and go back to Victor Harbour. He told our friends to be prepared!
At about 1.30pm we left there house and drove to Port Elliot and then to Hindmarsh River Estury. We had driven past the Estury when Yadi was with us but because it was getting late, we didn't stop to look properly. Today we did get out of the car and walked along the boardwalk on to the sand. Another reason we wanted to do this is because Andrew is officiating a wedding there in April.
From there we drove to Victor Harbour and again walked across the jetty but today the horse drawn tramway was also travelling on the jetty. When we got across onto the island we went to the cafe for a late lunch. We sat outside overlooking the water. Somebody commented that they had seen a seal and his friends said he was crazy. A few minutes later, I said I had seen it too, then everyone saw it. It wan't long until I saw the dolphins, it was lovely sitting there watching the dolphins. They are a bit hard to photograph though as they can come up anywhere. We could have sat just watching them but decided that it was time we walk around the island.
The walk was great! Then back to the car. From there we drove to Glenelg and walked to the Marina. It was about 9.30pm and we hadn't had our evening meal so we decided on Red Rock Noodle Bar. A great choice! A wonderful day, a great walk and a great meal. We walked back to the car and it was just starting to rain. What great timing! We thought it was going to rain while walking around Granite Island but luckily it held off.
Wish it wasn't so far for us to go to Granite Island! We would walk more often. :-)
