Nick Shopping for soccer shirts in Siena.
Well today it was breaky at home and then off to Siena about 70 klms away for Lunch and a visit. Found a little car park at teh bottom of the hill. Like most places around here the town is on top off the hill. Luckily for us they have just installed about seven very long and steep escalators which took us right to the top. Siena was beautiful. Walked around the main Piazza and found a little restaurant recommended in lonely planet. It was great. No menus just granddad telling us what pasta was available for entree as he brought out the wine. When we finished this he told us what meats were available. We then had a great second course. Then came desserts and coffee. Bloody great!!! After this we headed for the cathederal. Absolutely over the top magnificent. Better than we have ever seen and we been to a few throughout Europe. When KL and Nick found the toilets Cam stayed in the main hall with Ashley asleep in her pram. An old priest came through the door and spotted Ashley and came directly over to the pram. He then did the movements and blessed her. Ironic for those that know us! So she is now our blessed little angel.... and off course our little princess. KL and Nick were upset they missed the incident. From here we headed home and a nice little Pasta cooked by KL.
