Well we did the big drive and made it all the way to Spain. We arrived and headed straight to the Tourist Office to find accommodation. We decided to live it up but the Snobby staff at the four star hotel couldn't find us a room. Don't stay at the Londres Hotel! We tried a few others as well but most of them were closed for Xmas. We ended up staying at the Europa Hotel. Very nice and well located. Recommend to all. Headed out for dinner, pizza again and got some Gelati for dessert. Cam ordered the Cafe Nata. Tasted just like a frozen Farmers Union Ice Coffee. Heaven!!!!!! Nick decided he had to go back the next day for a litre of the stuff to get his fix. On the way to dinner there was a large crowd around the town hall yelling and screaming in Spanish. When we headed home they were gone but the battle ready riot squads were everywhere in full kit including Tear Gas Launchers. Later that night saw on the news they burnt a bus or two.
Next day we were lucky enough to stumble onto a festival for Saint Tomas. Everyone was dressed in traditional gear and stalls and shops everywhere. Another great day was enjoyed.
Nick is having a fantastic time and Ashley is still beautiful and making friends everywhere she goes. Her smile knocks them all over.
