Breakfast at the hotel again as included in the price. Started on the National roads instead of the Highway to see a bit of the area and also to take a side route into Austria. It was a beautiful drive heading towards and in between huge snow capped mountains.
We stopped at Merano for lunch and while we were there bought a couple of new outfits for Ashley as she has once again outgrown the suits we bought her a few weeks ago. Toasted baguettes today.
When we got to St Valentino we stopped to take some photos of the frozen lake and the ski run. There was a ski run that finished very close to the road with a bit of snow for us to get some photos and throw a snow ball or two at each other. We then hit the road for the Austrian border. We decided to stop at Bludenz which was a very nice little village. Found a small family run hotel and settled in. Went for a walk around town and ended up at a pizzeria for dinner. An older lady decided Ashley was tooooo beautiful and had to have a quick cuddle. Nick had a huge pasta for entree and KL and Cam had soup. Then we all had great steaks Cam and KL with a creamy sauce and Nick with cheese and egg. Very very very nice!!! Then off to bed we went. Very tiring being on the road all day again.
