Well we arrived at our litle cottage after a long drive from Spain. Luckily we decided to take the smaller road as there was a 200+ vehicle pile up on the toll road.

KL and Ashley settled in while Nick and Cam went grocery shopping.

23 Dec - Quiet day around Agris. Local shops and Nick and Cam did the laundry.

24 Dec - Went into Angouleme. Nearest big town. Most things closed as was Sunday. Went to a shopping centre and bought a few essentials for Xmas. Dinner at home which Kl cooked (Pasta) and Cam gave her a nice new ring for our 10 years since we first kissed anniversary. I know, most of you are thinking how has cam made it so long!!!!!!

25 Dec - Ashley got her Xmas present. A small colourful spotted soft toy lion. He is called Sebastion as Santa found him in San Sebastion, Spain. We will upload the photo in a couple of days. Lunch was at the small local restaurant. Seven courses and several bottles of wine over a period of almost 5 hours. YUM YUM YUM!

26 Dec - Visitied Limoges. Not much to say but it was ok.

27 Dec - Toured La Rochefaucauld Chateau. A great library! Then the local chocolate factory. Even better!

28 Dec - Nick and Cam went to Angouleme for a walk while Ashley and KL had a quite day at home. We also had drinks and snacks with theowners of teh cottage that evening. They were great again and served us up wine, Pineau and lots of local snacks. They are fantastic hosts.

At that is the end of a lovely restful week.

If anyone ever wants a great week away in a beautiful setting go to Agris and stay with Bebe and Michel. Make sure you have at least one meal at the local restaurant.
