Grab a taxi from the thamel or wherever you stay at in Kathmandu and go to this local temple, sitting on the river that goes through Kathmandu. In this temple you can see the ritual of burning the bodies of the dead, and not like in Varanasi, you can actually take pictures of it (as you see in my pics).
Another thing is to go through all the Sadhu's houses here and see them. Especially the guy called John the Lifter (Yohanan Hamerim in hebrew) who lifts 30kgs of rocks with his dick! somthing awful to see (especially for men) but I think worths it. Tip him nicely for the sacrifice he made :)
