Dim Sum and Leaving Las Vegas
Hard to believe the weekend was already over! It flew by! :-( I took a few pics of Melissa's bedroom as I absolutely want her bed although it is now discontinued (waaahhh) and we headed out for dim sum at a nearby restaurant before Julz and I got on the road. As we pulled in the parking lot, Melissa jumped out of the car and was instantly at our door. She was worried because the parking lot was empty and perhaps they lost their A rating or the place was no longer good! LOL. Julz and I laughed - it was 10:15am - they were probably just opening!
We got inside and sure enough, they weren't even open yet so Melissa felt a little better. And good thing, the food ended up being awesome - one of the best dim sum places I've been. As we were sitting there waiting for them to get started with the carts, in walks someone I used to work with at my office in Las Vegas. He was one of my ex's bosses - after he figured out who I was, we gossiped a bit and it was then time to start chowing.
What a yummy send off for Julz and I to head back on the road - I certainly ate too much but it was worth it. I can't thank Melissa enough for putting up with us all weekend....THANK YOU!! Can't wait til next time and a new dim sum place that Melissa promised! LOL. Oh, and more cookies please? :D
