Hawaii, here we come!
It was raining on our drive to the airport. I was thinking to myself, "If it is this way here, I wonder if it's raining there, too." But then I cheered myself up because it may be raining, but the big difference would be that it would be in Hawaii, not Los Angeles. Now don't get me wrong, I like rain in L.A. because it clears up the sky for a bit, I just didn't want it to rain that much in Hawaii so that I could experience the sun. Our flight was uneventful. Of course, I was nervous because I hadn't been on an a plane in over a decade. But I still do not consider myself a pro because I get nervous each time a board a plane.
We got to Hawaii about 2 in the afternoon. Once we left the plane I felt the heat! And I loved it! I was wearing a long sleaved shirt because I figured I would be cold on the plane, which I was, so what I did was get my luggage, go to the bathroom and changed my top! I was more confortable with the new top.
We had our hotel reservation, but we had no car reservation. So we had to go to different places to see what deals we could find. We ended up getting a Chevy Trailblazer. We also didn't know where to go, so they gave us directions on how to get there.I was the chosen one to drive to the hotel, which was a bummer for me because I couldn't see the views as much as my mom and sister could. Not that I wasn't trying. But what I did do was stop at every view point the island had so I could get my share of sightseeing.
