So, after sending my students on the hunt for bird sighting, I visited the nest ground during lunch. To my dismay, they were all gone. The eggs, the birds. Not a single egg shells remain. So, turn out Waste Management came by in the morning and took out the trash. What I don't understand is why would they take the eggs! The poor birds were very protective and loud about their eggs. How could they!
