were not germans but we speak german mini meet-up!

ok, so martin - www.travbuddy.com/skydiver  and bettina  - www.travbuddy.com/dahling met last week for a mini meet up here in düsseldorf, i didnt brought my camera that time (es tut mir sehr leid betty!) coz im just sooooo photoed from the that humongous düsseldorf meet up which i organized and still a bit stressed.  before we parted ways, martin asked me if i am avaliable again for another meeting with him, and i said why not next week, for sure im much more relaxed that time, and i promised to bring thy - www.travbuddy.com/icetea along with me.

so we set up a date for our mini meet up, this is my 2nd time in the history since i registered at travbuddy that i spoke german entirely through the night in a tb meet-up (first was betty and martin) the strange thing is, WERE NOT GERMANS! hahaha hahahah thy is originally from vietnam, martin from slovakia and me from the philippines - lots of common denominators - WE ALL HAVE OUR ROOTS IN DÜSSELDORF - all of us speak german (but i am the baddest of course :D), we both love to travel and we have a mean humor of telling our travel experiences! hahahahah hahahah hahahaha

i met martin at the central station at 8 pm and drove with the subway to meet thy at the old town, when we finally found and greeted each other - they asked what do we do, so i invited them to my ultimate favorite lounge bar in düsseldorf called: salon des amateurs (salon of the amateurs) i also wanted to bring the guys from the ddorf pre meet up here on friday night, but it was too full and we cant possiblyget in.

now salon des amateurs is not an ordinary, typical night lounge bar, there is something special going on. today we were suprised that the was was slowly filling up with asians! - JAPANESE TO BE EXACT, i saw a stage inside and i know something is going to happen, but im not sure what. we happen to be there early so we didnt paid the entrace fee.

slowly two of the japanese i spotted in the crowd suddenly went up the stage and began warming up, i havent had the vaguest idea of what to happen next - it was a surprise! its japanese electro-funk-chill out dou performing LIVE behind the background film of jesus' crucifiction but turned 180° - morbid hahahahhaa for them it was a new experience, not good not bad but strange, but for me, it is very "elemental" a juxtaposition of music, film and art.

the concert lasted an hour, and everyone uploaded thunderously after! it was nice meeting martin and thy again! :D for sure we will cross our paths in the near future, for as thy - were travelling together for the heidelberg meetup in june and i am planning a great eastern european trai ride and stopping at bratislava for martin!
