Some kind of incident...

This morning I took a walk out on the balcony & I felt like I was in a Christmas village. This town was all lit up at dusk nestled at the foot of snow capped mountains with it's reflection in the water. I yelled at Bernie, "You have to see this!" She did & it was still light out at midnight. Not much sleep tonight, I could tell. WEnt back to bed but I was really excited about the land portion. In the morning, we took our last walk on the balcony & then took our bags with us to breakfast. Arriving at the dining room, there were 2 towels placed on the right side door entrance. Obviously, some type of accident happened, we figured someone must had yacked, or so we thought. We were seated to the left, & after ordering, we then saw one worker with a mask on & then another with a jumpsuit on covering his entire body! Then yellow tape was being carried (WTF) & then a huge carpet cleaner/sweeper was carried by the jumpsuit man a few minutes later.
To the Explorer's Lounge at 8:45 to sit & wait to disembark. We chatted about football with a man from South California who was a Charger's fan. He teased me because I don't like football but like hockey. He was pretty funny though. We disembarked around 9:30 & it was a long trek to the bus in Whittier. On the bus, we had to wait until 10am for the Whittier tunnel to open. This tunnel is 2.5 miles long & is the longest tunnel in the US. There was a line-up for it, since only one way traffic goes through it at one time. We waited about 5 minutes before our turn. It was pretty dark going through but rather interesting. :)
