Walking in the rain

I've kicked off my 2008 Parkbenching Tour by hitting a couple more cities right here in North America...

Walking in the rain

After my experiences in Corning and Rochester, I was feeling pretty pumped.  It was getting a bit late, but I was still in the mood for "conquering" one more town...

Batavia.

Found a park bench by the stream that ran through town and did my set... then it started raining.  I still needed to take my video clip somewhere--a little hard in the dark and in the rain... but I did manage to find a sort of historical looking building that I figured would do the job...

Then I took my guitar back to the car and grabbed an umbrella.  Hell, why not?  No better way to end a good day like today than with a nice, late night hike in the rain.

Batavia with its wide, dreary, Main Street and silent neighborhoods was definitely an afterclimax... but sometimes you need an afterclimax to give you time to ponder on all that you've seen...
