This is my first trip all the way around the world.

I Love Switzerland - Road Trip

So I arrived in Zurich after much confusing time at the airport. The airline called me a few hours ahead to ask me to change to an earlier flight. Took great effort to get there, but then they stuffed up my meals. So wasn't the happiest person.

Flims, Vals, Locarno, Zurich

The cutest little place. One the way we passed Heidiland. I saw miniature goats. They were funny looking, but cute. The whole road trip I was amazed by the amount of green. Shades of green that I didn't even know existed. And mountains so steep, I am sure I have neck trauma. We also visited the lake in Flims. The water was so beautiful. Too bad it was freezing cold and we couldn't swim, but pretty nevertheless. And during my stay in Flims I discovered pizza. It took a damn packet pizza to show me that we have really crap pizza in Australia. What the hell are we all thinking? Too many ingredients! So I will now resolve to only eat simple (good) pizzas.

Sebi also took me to a place called Vals, to the spa resort kind of place. So much fun. There were hot and cold and normal water to swim in. The water from the mountain even tasted green...well some sort of mountain smell at least. The view from this place was magnificant. I don't know how many times Sebi was talking to me and I just didn't pay attention. I was so lost in the beauty. Unfortunately I also forgot to bring my camera that day, so no pictures :(

Then we went down south to Locarno. Very Italian feel. Very summer holiday kind of place. It was a bit confusing because there was a switch to Italian and it was hard enough trying to follow the Swiss German before :) We went up to see a pretty church in Locarno, before taking a scenic route home. Sebi and I climbed outselves a snowy mountain! It may have been small, it may have been only a bump in a bigger mountain, but we climbed up and touched snow! *makes cheering sounds*

Then Zurich. A very beautiful city. Beautiful buildings and beautiful people. And so quick to get anywhere. Trams are the way to go hehe. And I had my first Swiss sausage. It was really good, but the mustard was super strong! So yummy... And of course we watched Switzerland v Portugal. Go the SWISS!!! 2:0!!! It was so much fun.

So now I am in Interlaken starting my rail trip through the higher mountains. Will keep you guys updated. So wait for my next post. I'll be putting up some photos soon too!
