bellinzona

bellinzona is quite close from locarno, when there is no traffic jam it just takes a short time to get there, and we were lucky with the traffic!
bellinzona was also well signed, well it got a bit confusing to find a parkingcentre but there were plenty of free side street spaces left so no problems!
bellinzona has this stunning old city wall across the town that crowns on the gorgeous castel in the centre! we visited the castel a few years ago so we just headed for the historocal centre (i didn't remember that it was that big and beautiful!) what i did remember was the ice cream i had back then when i was a teenager, and that was the main reason we went there! and yes it's good! well i'm not saying as good as in the toscana (no one compares with that) but part from there amazing!
so after bellinzona we headed back home
