We just arrived at our cabin in Lapland. It's rather large with several bedrooms and a bathroom with a sauna in it. In a little while we are going to go explore the town and get some breakfast. I ended up not sleeping at all last night. Watched Serenity again around 4, had a pastry around 5, and took a 2 minute shower in the tiny hole around 6. Bleh.
So far Lapland is beautiful, even in summer. You can see these huge ski jumps in some places. Lots of flowers everywhere and cute houses. Should be an interesting weekend for sure. We are going to investigate, go see some reindeer and huskies, maybe go horseback riding or jetskiing. The water is so blue, it is a beautiful sapphire blue, deeper than the Carribbean waters but not as dark as the Atlantic sea.
