We all met at the Hilton Hotel parking lot for easier coordination: Our travel to Tombstone would be an hour and a half and included a stop in Sonoita. We had more than enough cars to transport everyone to and from Tombstone. We set off at 9: 30 a.m. instead of the originally planned 9:00 a.m. set off time, along the way I learned that two vehicles did not turn off on HWY 83 (Sonoita/ Patagonia HWY) which meant, they were not making the stop in Sonoita as planned. We arrived in Tombstone at 11:00 a.m missing the meet-up scheduled for 10:30 at Big Nose Kate's. Once in Tombstone, the group split up to do different things: some went on the 15 minute stage coach tour, others walked around to see the town on foot. We all convened for lunch at the Longhorn restaurant. The Gun fight show was scheduled for 1:00 p.m. so as soon as lunch was over, the group went to the show witht he exception of Keith, Dema and I who have seen the show more than once before. Melissa preferred to walk the town so she missed the gun fight show too.

After lunch, we left for Bisbee to tour the historic mining town. Unfortunately I was not able to book the mine tour due to advance bookings already in place. For those who would like to do this another time, I recommend at least a few months of booking ahead of your arrival.
