Day 2 - cloudy-snow
I was sharing a room with one of my friends from Japan. She got here a day before. I woke up around 8am and looked at the other side of the room. My friend was reading something quietly so I said 'good morning' and started chatting for about an hour or so..
Someone knocked while we were talking. OMG!! My old friends from school!!!! How great to meet them again!!! They aren't changing at all!! Only our age is different now. haha!!
I dressed and walked around the town with friends. It was just cold but we did. We got back to school and met other old friends. This time, some of them have changed.. they were more skinnier back then but now.. hmm.. too much fast food? not sure.. Some of them brought their new babies! So cute!!! Because of this weather, not many people showed up. I missed some of my friends :(
We talked about our school days, our new life, etc... Most of them got married after we graduated and I knew they were going out back then so nothing was special except that some of them have kids!!!!!! Can't believe they are MOMs and DADs now!!!!!! I remember they were just a dumb kids, who loved stupid things, fooling around.. but now, they are all settled down. Good, good!!
Day 3 - snow
We had to leave at noon to head back to Calgary by bus so we said good byes to everyone in a hurry. I felt I'll see them again in a future so I wasn't sad. When I see them next time would be more than 10 years later though... haha!
Going back to Calgary this time was hiliarious!!!! It was snowing of course. We were worried about what if we can't arrived safely or what if we stuck in a tiny town or things like that.
We took a bus at 2pm. The driver was really good. A couple of hours later, the driver changed. This time is a young guy. I say.. late 20's. When we arrived in a small town, our bus got stuck on the snow but it was okay. I was trying to sleep but I couldn't so I was talking to my friend, eat junks, take silly pics, etc... When we arrived in a town called 'Youngstown', something happened! We (our bus) got stuck on the middle of the road!!!! The driver took out a shovel and tried moving snow. Umm.. not working.. 5 minutes later, one truck came and pulled out our bus! WOW!! He did it!!!!!!!!! We all were like 'WOOHOO!! YAAAAAY!!!' It was so funny! About an hour or so, we stopped for a break. Driver said we were already late so we could have half an hour break. HAHA, that's so canada!!! That's not gonna happen in Japan!
One of the customers was so angry because we are late. But it was snowing, can't help it!!! My friend said this lady (chinese lady) was either eating or sleeping.. haha!!
We were supposed to arrive in Calgary at 8pm but we got there at 10:30pm. 8.5 hour drive back to Calgary. Holy crazy! It was long but it was fun.
