Hello everyone! Welcome to the innane ramblings of a Welshman on tour in Australia. I hope that through this blog I can recount to you all some of the fun I will have and highlight some enjoyable things to see and do Down Under.

The 'Gong

Well I have quit the Blue Mountains and headed out to pastures new - namely the city of Wollongong. Took a wander round the place today and honestly cant see myself staying here tomorrow - It reminds me of Port Talbot in South Wales, except that there are more shops here and the sun shines a bit more consistently. The one highlight of the city is supposed to be the Budhist Temple - largest in Australia - which I have not seen yet! Blergh. Off to watch a band called "The Gingers" play this evening and have a beer or two, perhaps the locals will be friendly, we shall see...
