Evening view from our hotel window

I'm beginning to think there was something wrong with my camera. I don't have many photos from my last couple of days back in Waikiki either. To be honest, I think I may have just been very relaxed and enjoying the last few days of my lovely honeymoon. Soaking up the sun, soaking up the view from my hotel window and as my dear friend Sweetski said, probably soaking up more than that. :)

This time we stayed at the Sheraton Moana Surfrider, the oldest hotel in Waikiki. Oh, let me tell you, it was absolute bliss. It is a wonderful hotel, with friendly efficient staff; we had a view out our room of the beach out one window and the bar out the other, not too bad. The day we checked out the hotel offered us a day room at no extra charge as our flight wasn't due to leave until the evening. The day room had everything a normal room had except a bed, it had a couch instead, so if you chose to sit in your room and watch TV, you could.

I hate to leave Hawaii, and this time was no different; I'm just glad I'm writing my blog now, one week before I'm due to fly back out and do it all over again.

And again, and again, and... :) Mel couldn't ask for a better birthday present!
