Amsterdam, The Hague, Delft... great weather, great company!

Late wake up!

The end of the tram line - Abtswoudsepark! We got out, looked around, then headed back for Delft!

We slept til noon but before it's dark, we'll have every picnic basket thats in Jellystone park...  Well, it was more like 11.  But it is so nice to sleep in!  The Novotel places bowls of Granny Smith apples here and there so we had a good apple for breakfast and some "make it yourself in your room" coffee (also, not bad!) and we were ready to go.  Today we're heading for Delft.  Another famous place I have always wanted to see - famous for it's beautiful tree lined canals, it's market square and Delftware - pretty blue and white ceramics.

There's a great network of trams here and you can just ride the tram from The Hague to Delft - it's easy and you can see the scenery along the way.  It is a nice way to get around. We decided to stay on the tram to the end of the line, just to check out the scenery - and then we headed back to Delft.
