Watch out for my broken thumb!
Well, where do I begin?...I suppose I should start from the moment I ran down the stairs of the D train and onto the platform only to discover that the train I was waiting for had just left the station. It was 5:45 and I had only 15 minutes to get there in time to catch the beginning of the two hour open, so I ran back up the stairs and onto the street where I ran cross-town and jumped into a taxi. Once I arrived in front of the Delancey the clock had hit exactly 6:00. As I entered, the first people I saw were Tasha and Jeff, who were downstairs by the door waiting to greet everyone. Once everyone got their open bar bracelettes, I ran upstairs and I grabbed some drinks to bring down to Jeff and Tasha because there was NO TIME TO WASTE ON DRINKS! After Tasha was attacked by an old man trying to kiss her, we all went upstairs and everyone began introducing themselves.
Everyone looks like they're falling over!
I have to give a shout-out to Mario and his girlfriend, they were my french instructors from Montreal...everyone, including myself found out that once I have had enough alcohol I can speak pretty much any language...and of course let's not forget about Nancyyyyy!!!! These Montreal cats know how to represent the 514!!!! I was also very pleased to finally meet Jillian, my San Fran connection....if you would have asked her to spell her name for you it probably would have went something like this "P-A-T-R-O-N"....as I think back further into the night on the people who I met the names begin to fade...but I do remember picking up Jennifer like 3 times...WHICH IF ANYONE HAS PICTURES OF THAT PLEASE POST THEM!!!!!! Im really surprised I didn't drop her...J/K. All in all it was an awesome time and I think everyone had a slammin' time!....Thanks to everyone who came through and for those of you who partied hard!!! See you all next time, hoepfully soon...LONG LIVE TB!!!!
