Antalya Museum: The history to melt into
April 9, 2008
I remember that I told some of you guys that I'm not a museum person but in Turkey it's undeniable to go to museum if you want to know about its story. I finally found myself love museum without knowing it. Every town I go I always look for museum and spend a day there as long as my leg allow me to stand. Below pictures are some of the collection in Antalya museum. Most of them are more than 2000 BC years old.
To get there is to take the tram and go to the end of the line which is Muze (museum) stop. The tram cost around 1 TRY. You should spare at least half day visit or a whole day would be the most quality time.

The Antalya dudes: Turkish hospitality
April 9, 2008
I spent one evening after a long day in Antalya museum in a restaurant on the cliff in front of Antalya Museum, Miradorbistro. I would say it's the best location cafe in Antalya. You will have the magnificent panoramic view of Antalya beach. The food is great even though not the best but to compare with the whole package; view and service, it's reasonable and well recommended to have an unwind afternoon for once.
This is another Turkish hospitality experience I had in Turkey. I was sitting on a table in and watching a group of lady who were fortune telling from the Turkish coffee. One of them saw me watching them she then invited me to join their table. We had great time talking with our body language and shared food. The best part is the sing; after we finished eating they started singing in Turkish song which I couldn't understand but it was nice to hear the chorus singing together. One of the lady; Huriye, has 2 children who wait there, so we got good service from the restaurant making the dinner even better.
