WOW!!! What a great weekend in NYC. I was a bit nervous about this one, just because of so many TB peeps who were coming. I am somewhat shy in large crowds and wasn't sure if I would be comfortable in this setting, but all my fears were soon removed. I will admit, the wine and Patron helped me loosen up, but it was the people who made all the difference. These TBs who came were such a fabulous group of people, and I felt so comfortable in their company. I realize I did not get to meet everyone, and I regret that part of it, but the people I did meet were all so friendly and didn't mind at all to converse like long-time buddies. I was also impressed of how everyone was so amiable throughout the night and remaining under control. This was a first class bunch of people!!! These meetups are unlike any other social event.
I want to apologize to anyone that I have neglected to mention in my blogs, because I know there are some peeps I met and spoke with, and now don't remember their names! :( Please give me a shout if you are one of them!!! So, in closing, thank you Jeff, Natasha, and Debra for all of your efforts in putting this together. And thanks to everyone else for coming and making this such a memorable experience. I feel I made some new and long-lasting friends, and hope that I can meet all of you again at a future date.
Oaky, I will post a few final photos here...photos that did not make the cut for the first three entries because these are the silly ones, except for Val's cool tatoo!
