My day got off to an early start. The plan was to wake up around 6 AM to go lift weights and shoot around at the USF gym with Clint. Once he came to get me from my hotel, we headed for the gym. The campus is a beautiful place from what I heard, but it's too bad I didn't have time to walk around the entire campus. Besides, 6 AM in San Francisco is way too cold to walk around. We finished our workout around 10:30 in the morning and then proceeded to run some errands.
We were planning on having a late dim sum breakfast, so we picked Karen up from the inn and headed off. Before we ate, we decided to do some sightseeing. The usual stops were the Golden Gate Bridge, the Science Museum, and the major landmark buildings.
After dim sum, we made our way to Chinatown to run some errands for Karen. It roughly took us the entire afternoon. Shortly after, we made our way into downtown where we checked out some of the bakeries and other assorted goodies. Unfortunately, we ran into a slight problem with the metermaids. As we were walking back to the car, a tow truck left with Clint's car. We were pissed and stranded... not a good time at the moment. It took us a while to catch a cab to get down to the impound lot. Once we got there, we waited for the car. Impounds are a joke! We had to pay a $188 fine just to get our car back. I felt bad for Clint, so I decided to pony up the dough since he was so kind to drive us around everywhere.
To get our spirits up, we made our way to Ghirardelli Square for a nice warm brownie sundae. It definitely cheered Clint up. :P
We went to Ciopinno's near the wharf for dinner. In my opinion, it was a tad pricey, but overall a great place for Italian eats. I had a risotto, which you can never go wrong with.
After dinner, we walked around the wharf and bought more souvenirs around the neighboring area.
