Of all th bars in all the world

Leave around 8.50 am. Arrive in Casablanca 1.05 pm. Met at the airport. Had a bit of a carry on with the chap who met us as he wanted to know when we were leaving and we tried to explain we weren’t going by aircraft and didn’t know when we were leaving. However we were taken to Idou Anfa Hotel. Deann arrived around 4ish. Out to Turkish Restaurant for tea, which was very cool

Saturday 26^th.

Have breakfast. Set off walking around the town. Was 27°. Go to “Rick’s Café”, the setting for the movie ‘Casablanca’. Had a drink and nibbles there, then the chap showed us around the whole place. About three storeys and from the top we look out over the sea. They had a large movie screen where you could watch the whole film of Casablanca, but we didn’t have time. From there we walked through the market and I bought some shoes, walk right up through the town and to see the Hassan II Mosque. Back to the hotel around 3 pm and Me and Deann had swim in hotel pool. Dinner was 8.30 pm and we met the others who were going on the tour with us.

Sunday 27^th 31°.

Bus leave at 9.30 am for sightseeing of Casablanca. Look at market, Hassan II Mosque (outside only) which is huge!! Carry on to Corniche for a lunch stop. mum had ice cream and coffee, Me and Deann have a beer. On to Rabat.
