Drive to Marrakech. Stop several times for pit stop. Stop for lunch. Very hot. Arrive 6.30 pm at Hotel Atlas Asni. Have tea. Go down to look at grounds, swimming pool and there were a pianist and a guitar man playing on the terrace and they were extremely good. Wanted us to get up and dance, but we declined.
9am take bus to Menara Gardens (olives), Reservoir, Bahia Palace. Bahia means beautiful.
Casbah. Back to hotel for lunch. In the afternoon to see snakes, monkeys in the square. There were stalls selling oranges everywhere. Me and Deann both held a snake. Mum had a monkey on her shoulder with a nappy on!. At the market we got henna tattoos on us which were pretty cool. The guide we had was not very good at all.
On the bus out to dinner at Chez Ali. Morrocan dinner of soup, chicken, couscous and vegetables and fruit. After dinner a show of horses, stunt riders and men with guns on horses. Was dusty and a bit crazy but fun
Friday September 1st.
