My bike tours, my freedom! When the weather isn't shitty, i go biking, every day (hm... almost). In winter when there is snow - it's not that fun, but in other seasons it's the best way to travel i guess:)

First longer bike ride this year (2008)

out of town - Łężyce /Lezyce

At least.. the spring has come and the winter is gone!!! (as for winter, it could be cancelled for me).
I got a message from Beata - my katrabaho (LOL, =my workmate), who wanted to go biking, cuz the weather was 'splendide'! But since she lives 20km from my town we had to make an appointment somwhere in the middle of the way. And we did. Well it was not exactly in the middle between our houses, but ok, i can go a bit farther;). The place to meet was in Pomorsko at the ferry. After some 40minute fast ride i got there, but i missed the ferry at about 30seconds and had to wait for the next. Then Beata called me, she was at the other side of the river Odra (the second largest in Poland) staying and giving me signs hahaha. She got in on the ferry and came to me, then we decided to ride on her side of the river, so again on the ferry and we rode to the north side:)
At the ferry i was forced to help german tourists who wanted to get to a place, but they lost their way there.

Lucky them, i know german, and i know the way hahaha. So one down, how many to go? ;) /i'm such a good person, LOL/
We got off and rode a small field path along the river enjoying the sun and the wild places, but the wild animals as well. Then we set down on the grass and drank coffe which was brought by Beata - smart one, isn't she? - and ate some croissants with the coffe:)))
We rode through the forest, without map, cuz even if we would have gotten lost - we would find either the main road or the river, so there was no need to look at any map. Suddenly in a dark part of the forest we met a big group of deer! Wonderful, but they were too fast and i didn't manage in time to take a pic of them :(
We rode until Cigacice, where we ate ice cream and rest a bit at the brigde. Then we said good bye and "cu tomorrow at work" and every one rode alone to the own town. The whole trip was about 45km and was the first longer one this year. I hope i will be doing such ones more often now, since the sun is smiling every day here:)
