woo hoo!

booked the first hostel for this trip today - yay!  every traveller knows how exciting that can be.  it's like booking your plane ticket -- it cements your trip just that much more. 

granted i've moved a bit backwards in that i've booked my hostel before my planet ticket but that's because i'm not leaving till december, so there's still plenty of time for sales.  but at the same time i booked the hostel early because being new years eve in madrid, just wanting to make sure i have a place to lay my head that's not a park bench when i get in on the 30th and all that jazz.  the rest i probably won't book till much later...maybe even while i'm there.  but in the meantime woo hoo!
