Oh my how I forgot about snoring in hostels!  I’ve been completely lucky up to this point and haven’t encountered any that was so bad a little light music couldn’t cure, but last night I hit the mother load.  The snorer of all snorers.  Seriously he made up for every snorer I haven’t encountered thus far!  I tried putting  my headphones on, but had to turn the music up so loud to drown him out that it was too loud to sleep!  And even then I could hear him snoring during down parts of the music!  So somewhere around 3am he either died or just stopped breathing -  either way I didn’t care because I was finally able to fall asleep…

So yesterday evening it started raining and hasn’t stopped yet.

But I like the rain, so I don’t mind it.  Although it’s really more of a mist, but like a heavy consistent mist… so much for yesterday’s perfect weather!  So that weather dictated today should be a museum day.  But then after waiting about 45 minutes (in the rain) for a bus that never came, I gave up and headed back to the hostel.  It turns out everyone had the same idea and a lot of the folks there spent the day inside!  We watched movies, played card games, ate, chatted, and worked on the film they were shooting there.

The director admitted it to being a B-rated horror ‘trailer film’ and it was called Santa Claus is Coming.  I play the final victim who is chased and eventually killed and disemboweled by an ax-wielding Santa!  Well I don’t except Oscar to come call, I laughed a lot, and it was a lot of fun…
